Help your community become safer, more productive, + more enjoyable. You help shape it.
Zoseco charters a plane, fills it with people from a handful of cities, and lands them in one Colorado mountain town for a week of working side by side, climbing, and leaving the place better than they found it.
About
Three things a community can get better at
Safer, more productive, more enjoyable. Zoseco is a way to work on all three with the people around you, in public, where members help decide what the community does next. It has to pay for itself to last, so it is built to be sustainable from the start.
Safer: parchment
Parchment is how a community keeps its word: written agreements, real people vouched for by others who know them, records anyone can check. A place feels safe when you can see how it runs.
More productive: silver
Silver is how a community gets things done + pays for them. Priced in silver, work + sessions carry an honest cost, so what gets built can keep being built.
More enjoyable: glass
Glass is the part you can see through, where light comes in: stained windows, shared meals, trips, a room you want to come back to.
Pop in, no sign-up
Hosts post where they are working, + anyone can join them. No login, no account, no form. Open the log, come to the place, sit down + work.
Adults stopped meeting new people, and it is not a personality problem
School handed everyone a group without being asked for one. Work used to do something close to it. Now the calendar is full, the friends are scattered across four cities, and the last genuinely new person most people met was onboarded on the same Monday they were. It is not a personality problem and it is not a phase. Meeting people takes three things adults almost never get at once: the same faces, more than once, somewhere nobody has to perform. A weeknight event delivers one of the three. Building the thing that delivers all three is what Zoseco does.
Adventure groups, which is where most people meet this community now
A campaign is one chartered plane and one week. Cities join the manifest one at a time, and a city is on it when somebody there agrees to fill its seats and enough neighbors claim them. Everyone from that city meets at their own airport and walks on together, so no part of it begins with standing alone in a terminal. The plane lands in Colorado, the group moves into one mountain town, and the days split between structured work sessions and the mountain itself. Everyone flies home afterward into a community that now covers every city that was on that plane.
Spirch, a spiritual home outside organized religion
This is the heart of it. Spirch is short for spiritual but not religious, and it is a church being built for people who carry a spiritual life and have never had a comfortable place to put it: people who left an institution, people an institution pushed out, and people who never walked into one but have not stopped asking the questions. It runs as a book club, a run club, a bible study without a pulpit standing over anyone, and an honest conversation about the things people experience and cannot explain. Nobody has to believe anything to take part, and nobody has to have their life sorted out first.
Working from Colorado without working alone
The second piece is for remote workers, and it grew out of a simple observation: the hardest part of the work is usually starting it, and that gets much easier next to somebody else who is also starting. Scheduled focus sessions, run in Denver and increasingly in the mountain towns, put people in a room together to work quietly side by side. It is the oldest fix there is for a problem most remote workers think is a personal failing. Colorado is where this is being built out now, town by town, wherever enough people say they would come.
Quests, good work carried all the way to the end
The third piece is service, and the standard is finishing. A quest is a work of mercy the community takes up together and carries through instead of abandoning when the initial enthusiasm runs out. Trail stewardship, river cleanups, a parish that needs hands, a neighbor who needs more help than one household can give. It is the part that turns a group of people who like each other into a community that is worth something to the place it sits in.
Meetups + work sessions are how all of it actually happens
None of the above works as an idea. It works as a calendar. Coworking sessions, meetups at local coffee shops and breweries, workshops, and gatherings are the connective tissue that turns three separate good intentions into one community that people can actually find. Those gatherings run in Valparaiso, Indiana, around Denver, and across Colorado, and they do double duty: they build the community, and they send real foot traffic to the local businesses that host them.
For organizations trying to reach a new audience
Sometimes the group that needs community is not a family but an organization. A nonprofit, a campaign, a foundation, or a company with real resources and a real mission, working to reach people who have always been hard to bring in. Some audiences do not respond to a standard outreach playbook. The independent, technical, online crowd is one of them, and they are exactly the people many missions need most. Reaching them is what Zoseco does best.
Built by people who have done it
Zoseco is an Indiana nonprofit that has helped people build communities since 2014, beginning with the first coworking space in Northwest Indiana, run for over a decade from a sunlit office in downtown Valparaiso. People who built things there left with real skills, finished work, and the confidence of having made something people wanted; some went on to roles at Meta, Protiviti, BMO Harris, and Ulta Beauty. What gets built should belong to the people who built it, and should still be standing long after the excitement of starting it has worn off.
Where to start
Pick the door that fits. The adventure groups page has the plane, the towns, what a seat costs, and the waiting list. Read about Spirch if the spiritual side is what brought you here. Read about quests if you would rather start by being useful to somebody. The Colorado pages cover the work sessions and the season for anyone already living there. All of them lead to the same community, and any of them is a fine way to walk in.
Services
Community Membership
One membership covers everyone: community builders and Spirch members alike. Get involved and the network opens to you right away: a place to share ideas, trade resources, meet at local meetups, and build momentum with people doing the same work. You are an active member from your very first visit.
Initial Consultation
Sometimes you just need someone to talk it through. A one-time working session to figure out what you want to build and why, so you leave with clarity instead of a to-do list. If you want ongoing guidance after that, you can continue on as a coaching retainer.
Managed Community
Zoseco's team becomes your community's engine, running the week-over-week work of building it for you with systematic best practices for your type of group. A weekly tempo of activation drives your reach and engagement, with a weekly report showing the result, plus a weekly event Zoseco prepares and hosts where you meet more of the community being built around your interest. You are a patron of the community, not just a customer. Professional community management, built and run from Indiana.
